Chief Justice pays a farewell visit to President

Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refat Ahmed paid a farewell visit to President Md. Sahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Thursday afternoon (December 18).

During the meeting, the President lauded Dr. Ahmed’s long and distinguished judicial career, highlighting his contributions to strengthening the institutional independence of the judiciary, upholding professionalism, and promoting justice.

He remarked that the Chief Justice’s commitment to good governance and fair judicial practices would serve as a guiding example for the country’s judiciary in the future.

Dr. Ahmed is set to retire on December 27, concluding his tenure as Bangladesh’s 25th Chief Justice.
