The winter chill is deepening in Panchagarh’s Tetulia, with temperatures dropping steadily and dense humidity worsening public discomfort. The Met Office has indicated a possible cold wave at the beginning of December.

Tetulia recorded a minimum temperature of 13°C at 6.00am on Wednesday (November 25), with 97% humidity. On Tuesday, the temperature dipped to 12.8°C, one of the season’s lowest, following 13.4°C on Monday.

The falling temperatures have made the cold more pronounced. Locals report difficulties in daily activities as icy winds dominate early mornings.

Tetulia Weather Observatory meteorologist Jitendranath Roy said winter has set in and temperatures are expected to drop further, with a cold wave likely in early December.
