Chittagong Veterinary University students to do internship in Pakistan

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) and one of the best universities in Pakistan, the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), for mutual cooperation in education and research activities.

The agreement was signed between the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of CVASU and the Faculty of Veterinary Science of UVAS on Wednesday (February 19) for a period of three years. The agreement was signed by the deans of the respective faculties. There is an option to renew the agreement later.

CVASU Vice Chancellor and Dean (Additional Responsibilities) of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Professor Dr Mohammad Lutfur Rahman signed the MoU on behalf of CVASU while UVAS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Yunus signed on behalf of UVAS at the virtually held MoU signing ceremony.

It is learned that under this agreement, students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of CVASU will get the opportunity to do a one-month internship at the UVAS, a university located in Lahore, Pakistan. Similarly, students of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of UVAS will also be able to do a one-month internship at CVASU.
