City University hosts ‘Class to Career’ workshop

The Department of English Language and Literature at City University organized a workshop titled “Presentation Pro: From Class to Career” on Saturday (October 11) at the university’s hall room in Ashulia.

With the slogan “Speaking is not just an art — it’s a skill that can open doors to education, confidence, and future success,” the event aimed to enhance students’ presentation and communication skills.

City University’s Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Shahadat Kabir, attended the workshop as the chief guest. Writer, filmmaker, and professional trainer Walid Ahmed conducted the session as the keynote speaker and resource person.

During the workshop, participants were guided on how to present their ideas effectively and confidently — from academic presentations to professional scenarios — developing essential skills for their future careers.

Faculty members and students of City University were also present at the event.
