Class 10 student goes missing on way to school in Cumilla, family seek help

A Class 10 student has gone missing in Cumilla after leaving home for school on Monday morning (September 21), prompting his family to seek help in locating him.

Shahriar Nafis, son of expatriate Sumon Mia of Burirpar village in Debidwar upazila, is a science student at Ibn Taimia School and College in Cumilla.

Family members said Nafis left home as usual for school in the morning but did not return. They searched several places and contacted relatives, but could not trace him.

His maternal uncle, Md Nazrul Islam Bappi, said the family filed a general diary with Kotwali Model Police Station around midnight after failing to find him throughout the day.

Posts seeking information about Nafis have also been circulated on social media. Cumilla court lawyer Advocate Sohrab Hossain Bhuiyan also appealed for help in locating the missing student.

The family has requested anyone who finds Nafis or has information about his whereabouts to contact them or inform the authorities immediately.
