Classes, exams suspended at public-private medical colleges
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to suspend classes and examinations at all public and private medical colleges across the country to tackle potential electricity and fuel crises due to the ongoing war situation in the Middle East.
The decision was taken at a ministry meeting held on Monday, March 9. Director General of the Directorate General of Medical Education Professor Dr Nazmul Hossain confirmed this information.
He said from tomorrow, Tuesday, classes and internal examinations at public and private medical colleges will remain suspended. Classes and examinations will resume as usual after the Eid holidays. Medical universities will decide on suspending their examinations.
