Cluster Entry Test: 24 univs reschedule date

The date for undergraduate admission test for the 2023-24 academic year at 24 public universities, which are under GST (general, science, and technology) cluster, has been chenged due to "unavoidable" circumstances, said the admission committee.

The decision has been taken in a meeting of the committee on Wednesday.

According to the new schedule, the admission test for Unit A will be held on April 27, B on May 4 and C on May 11 from 12noon to 1pm.

As per the decision, application for the test admission can be submitted online from 12noon on February 12 to 11:59 pm on February 26.

Prof Md Anwar Hossain, vice-chancellor of Jessore University of Science and Technology and also convener of GST admission committee, confirmed the matter.

Currently, there are three cluster admission tests -- GST, agriculture, and another one with Ruet, Cuet and Kuet. Under this system, universities are grouped together to admit students based on their choices and merit.
