Cocktail explosions in Agargaon, Mohakhali after Malibagh

Cocktail explosions have taken place in Agargaon and Mohakhali after Malibagh of the capital. These separate explosions took place in the area adjacent to Bangladesh Betar Bhaban in Agargaon and in Mohakhali around the evening on Friday (September 18).

It has been learnt that miscreants caused two cocktail explosions one after another in Mohakhali area around the evening. Almost at the same time another cocktail explosion took place on the road adjacent to Bangladesh Betar Bhaban in Agargaon. However, no report of any casualties was received immediately in these incidents.

Earlier a cocktail explosion took place in front of Fortune Shopping Mall in Malibagh of the capital after Juma prayers on Friday. No report of anyone being killed or injured was received immediately in that incident either.

A few days before this three cocktail explosions also took place in Dhaka University area on Tuesday night (September 15). Around 10:45pm first two cocktail explosions took place one after another in the gate area of Jagannath Hall. A short while later another explosion took place in the TSC area. After these incidents a tense situation was created on the Dhaka University campus.
