Community Bank to collect electricity bills for WEZOPADICO

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a significant contract with Westzone Power Distribution Company (WEZOPADICO) to handle the collection of electricity bills across the western region of Bangladesh.

This agreement, effective for the next three years, covers both prepaid and postpaid electricity bill collection.

The contract was formalized in a ceremony held at the Khulna Club Auditorium, where Md Azizur Rahman, general manager of the Finance Department at WEZOPADICO, and Mr Kimiya Sadat, managing director (Current Charge) of Community Bank, inked the agreement.

The signing ceremony was attended by several key officials, including Md Abdul Khalek, supervising engineer (Commercial) at WEZOPADICO, and Community Bank's senior leadership team, such as Dr Md Ariful Islam, head of Corporate Banking, and Khulna Branch Manager Md Roknuzzaman.
