Coordinators called to Bangabhaban

The coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement have been invited to hold a meeting at Bangabhaban.

President Mohammad Shahabuddin and Army chief Waker-uz-Zaman will be present at the meeting.  Bangabhaban sources reported this information on Tuesday (August 6) afternoon.

Earlier in the day, President Mohammed Shahabuddin has dissolved the National Parliament following a high-stakes meeting with key stakeholders, including the chiefs of the three armed forces, leaders of various political parties, civil society representatives, and leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

Meanwhile, coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement Nahid Islam said that a 13-member team from the anti-discrimination student movement has come to meet the president and the chiefs of the three armed forces at Bangabhaban to discuss the current situation and outline of the interim government.

Dhaka University Professor Asif Nazrul and Professor Tanjimuddin are also present.

He also said that details will be given after the discussion.
