The Iftar and discussion meeting of the Chittagong University Communication and Journalism Alumni Association (CUCJAA), comprising members living in Dhaka, was held with great enthusiasm.

The event took place on Friday (March 21) at the Cricketer's Kitchen & Cafe in Gulshan, Dhaka.

The pre-Iftar discussion was chaired by Fazlul Karim, the first Vice President of CUCJAA and a former student from the first batch of Chittagong University's Communication and Journalism Department. The program was conducted by Tanmoy Majumder, the association’s Joint General Secretary.

In his speech, Fazlul Karim said, "This reunion of the Journalism Department provides an excellent platform for alumni to reconnect and exchange greetings." He urged all former students to actively take part in such gatherings and shared plans to organize more reunions throughout the year on a larger scale.

As in previous years, this year's Iftar event also became a grand reunion of past and present students of the department. Attendees had a great time reconnecting with old classmates, friends, and seniors, enjoying lively conversations and reminiscing about old times.

Participants shared their excitement, noting that they eagerly look forward to this day every Ramadan. "It feels like an early Eid celebration for us," they said. Everyone expressed hope to keep supporting each other and stay connected in the future.
