The home minister added that in the remaining districts, the administration and law enforcement officials will coordinate and decide on curfew hours.
Earlier in the day, the government announced a relaxation of the curfew for nine hours, from 8.00 am till 5.00 pm.
When asked about the five coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement taken into custody by the DB for security reasons, the Home Minister said, "The agitators feared they might be hurt, so they told their families they were hiding. They contacted us, so we brought them into safe custody."
