Daraz launches 10.10 shopping fest with flash deals, brand discounts

Daraz Bangladesh has launched its 10.10 Shopping Fest, offering discounts of up to 80 per cent on flash sales, up to 75 per cent on selected hot deals and savings of up to 12 per cent through prepayment vouchers.

The campaign began at 8pm on October 9 and will run until October 19, bringing deals across electronics, fashion, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), home appliances, health and beauty, and lifestyle products.

Customers can also access brand-specific discounts during designated Brand Rush Hour sessions, along with sitewide delivery discounts and free delivery on selected products for customers across all 64 districts.

One of the campaign's key attractions is the prepayment voucher, which offers discounts of up to 12 per cent to customers who pay in advance. The Brand Rush Hour sessions will feature special offers from leading brands during selected time slots on October 9-10, October 16 and October 19.

Daraz has also scheduled a series of brand promotions throughout the campaign. Vision Brand Day will take place on October 11, followed by Lotto on October 12, Nestlé on October 13, Dettol Super Brand Day on October 14, Dabur on October 16 and Himalaya Brand Day on October 17.

Under its Daraz Choice service, the platform will continue offering everyday low prices on essential products. Customers purchasing three items will qualify for free delivery, while those buying five items will receive a free gift along with free delivery.

The campaign has attracted several corporate partners. Himalaya, Dettol and Unilever have joined as exclusive platinum partners, while Godrej and Parachute Naturale are gold sponsors. Neocare is participating as a silver sponsor.

Additional savings are available through payment partners. bKash users can receive a 12 per cent discount on marketplace orders worth at least Tk 599, capped at Tk 200. Nagad users can also get 12 per cent cashback on orders meeting the same minimum purchase requirement, subject to a maximum of Tk 200.

Credit and prepaid cardholders of Community Bank PLC, United Commercial Bank PLC and Southeast Bank PLC are eligible for discounts of up to 12 per cent, capped at Tk 1,500. Meanwhile, eligible EMI transactions made with NRB Bank credit cards qualify for 10 per cent cashback of up to Tk 500 per transaction.

Alongside the promotional offers, Daraz has urged customers to remain vigilant against fraudulent schemes using its name. The company warned of fake mystery box offers and job or online earning opportunities circulated through unauthorised Facebook pages, groups, WhatsApp and Telegram accounts.

Daraz said it does not operate mystery box offers and does not contact prospective employees through WhatsApp, personal messages or Telegram to offer jobs. Customers have been advised not to share personal or financial information with unauthorised accounts and to verify offers through the company's official website, www.daraz.com.bd, app and authorised social media channels.
