Dates for two phases of Bishwa Ijtema finalized

The Biswa Ijtema, the second-largest Muslim congregation, will be held in two phases in 2025. The dates have already been finalized.

A gazette on this matter was issued by the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday.

According to the notification, the first phase of the Biswa Ijtema will take place from January 31 to February 2, 2025, while the second phase will be held from February 7 to 9.

The first phase of the Ijtema will be held under the Maulana Zubair faction, while the second phase will be organized by the Saad faction, both on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi.

The notice mentioned that the World Ijtema has long played a significant role in enhancing the country's image on the international stage. The upcoming event should be organized in a way that reflects past experiences and makes it even more beautiful and meaningful.
