Mohammad Nasirul Islam, joint commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch, has been transferred to the Protection and Diplomatic Security Division of DMP. The transfer was announced in an office order on Sunday, May 24. The order, signed by DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, stated that the concerned officer has been posted to the new division in the public interest until further notice. The transfer order is effective immediately.

ঢাকা মহানগর গোয়েন্দা পুলিশের (ডিবি) যুগ্ম কমিশনার মোহাম্মদ নাসিরুল ইসলামকে ডিএমপির প্রটেকশন অ্যান্ড ডিপ্লোমেটিক সিকিউরিটি বিভাগে বদলি করা হয়েছে। রোববার (২৪ মে) এক অফিস আদেশে এই বদলির কথা জানানো হয়। ডিএমপি কমিশনার মোসলেহ্‌ উদ্দিন আহমদ স্বাক্ষরিত ওই আদেশে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে, জনস্বার্থে সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তাকে পরবর্তী নির্দেশ না দেয়া পর্যন্ত নতুন এই স্থানে পদায়ন করা হলো। বদলির এই আদেশ অবিলম্বে কার্যকর হবে বলেও আদেশে জানানো হয়েছে।
