Three people have died of dengue in the past 24 hours, while 580 patients have been admitted to hospitals. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the figures in a press release on Sunday (September 7). According to the statement, the deceased include one man and two women. Of those admitted, 415 are from outside Dhaka. So far this year, 135 people have died from dengue, including 73 men and 62 women. A total of 34,411 cases have been recorded, with 20,592 men and 13,819 women among the patients.

ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় তিনজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। একই সময়ে ৫৮০ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। রোববার (৭ সেপ্টেম্বর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, মারা যাওয়া তিনজনের মধ্যে একজন পুরুষ এবং দুইজন নারী। হাসপাতালে ভর্তি রোগীর মধ্যে ৪১৫ জন ঢাকার বাইরের। চলতি বছর এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে ১৩৫ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ৭৩ জন পুরুষ ও ৬২ জন নারী। এ পর্যন্ত মোট আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন ৩৪,৪১১ জন। এরমধ্যে ২০,৫৯২ জন পুরুষ ও ১৩,৮১৯ জন নারী।
