At least six dengue patients died, and 1,561 others were hospitalised in the 24 hours till 8:00am today. Among the deaths, two each were reported in Chattogram and Khulna divisions, while one each in Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 149 and cases to 5,1837. Currently, 3,595 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.

দেশে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে ছয়জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। একই সময়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ১ হাজার ৫৬১ জন। রোববার স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের এক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, চলতি বছর দেশে ডেঙ্গুতে এ পর্যন্ত মোট ১৪৯ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে চট্টগ্রাম ও খুলনা বিভাগে দুজন করে এবং ঢাকা ও ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে একজন করে মারা গেছেন। এ নিয়ে সারাদেশে ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি রোগীর সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৫১ হাজার ৮৩৭ জনে।
