Dense fog: 4 Dhaka-bound flights redirected to Hyderabad, Kolkata
Three Dhaka-bound flights carrying passengers landed at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport of Kolkata in India instead of Dhaka due to dense fog.
Another Saudia Airlines flight from Riyadh was scheduled to land at Dhaka airport at 2:10 am on Wednesday (Jan 17). But it failed to land due to thick fog and was rerouted to Hyderabad.
According to a source at Shahjalal International Airport, a US-Bangla Airlines flight from Dubai, a Salam Air from Muscat and a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur landed in Kolkata for the same reason.
