Dhaka-13: Mamunul Haque casts vote in Mohammadpur

Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Ameer Mohammad Mamunul Haque, the rickshaw symbol candidate nominated by the Jamaat alliance, has exercised his voting rights in the first hour of polling in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

The Dhaka-13 constituency candidate cast his vote at 8:10 am on Thursday, February 12, at the Government Physical Education College centre on Sat Masjid Road, Mohammadpur.

On the ground, polling that began in the morning was seen to be proceeding smoothly. No signs of violence were observed. Enthusiastic voters were exercising their franchise comfortably, and law enforcement personnel remained in a strict posture.

The Dhaka-13 constituency, comprising wards 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and 34 of Dhaka North City Corporation, has a total of 4,08,791 voters. Among them, 2,09,812 are male voters, 1,98,971 are female voters, and eight are third-gender voters.
