Awami League nominated candidate and also the Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni won Chandpur-3 seat. She got 109,046 votes while her nearest rival independent candidate Mir Samsul Alam got 24,183 votes with eagle symbol. It should be noted that according to the latest information of the Bangladesh Election Commission, the total number of voters in Chandpur-3 constituency is 508,932.

চাঁদপুর-৩ আসনে আওয়ামী লীগ মনোনীত নৌকা প্রতীকের প্রার্থী দিপু মনি ১ লাখ ৯ হাজার ৪৬ ভোট পেয়ে বিজয়ী হয়েছেন। প্রাপ্ত তথ্য অনুযায়ী, বিজয়ী দিপু মনির সবচেয়ে কাছের প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী স্বতন্ত্র প্রার্থী মীর সামসুল আলম ঈগল প্রতীকে পেয়েছেন মাত্র ২৪ হাজার ১৮৩ ভোট। উল্লেখ্য, বাংলাদেশ নির্বাচন কমিশনের হালনাগাদ তথ্য অনুযায়ী চাঁদপুর-৩ আসনে মোট ভোটার ৫ লাখ ৮ হাজার ৯৩২ জন।
