DMP reshuffles 12 senior officers in fresh administrative move
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred 12 senior officers to different units as part of its latest administrative reshuffle, according to two separate office orders issued on Thursday (August 6).
The orders, signed by Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters and Administration) Mohammad Shahriar Ali, include transfers involving officers at both the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Assistant Commissioner (AC) levels.
Under the new postings, ADC Tania Sultana, previously serving with the Traffic Tejgaon Division, has been transferred to the Public Relations (P&R) Division, while ADC Ehsanul Kamran Tanvir, from the Maintenance, Procurement and Workshop Division, has been reassigned to the Traffic Tejgaon Division.
Several Assistant Commissioners have also been reshuffled. Anish Kirtoniya has been moved from the Lalbagh Division to the Transport Division, Sudipta Kumar Biswas to the Logistics (Equipment) Division, and Ferdous Mehebub to the Patrol-Kotwali Zone under the Lalbagh Division.
In a separate order, Mushfiqur Rahman Tushar has been posted to the Chawkbazar Zone of the Lalbagh Division, Tania Sultana to the Women Support and Investigation Division, and Sheikh Suraiya Urmi to the POM-West Division.
The remaining transfers include Mohammad Mahfuzar Rahman to Bangabhaban Security-1, Nusrat Yasmin Tisha to the Traffic Mirpur Division, Mohammad Saiful Islam to the Patrol-Cantonment Zone under the Gulshan Division, and Sakilur Rahman to the Detective Cyber and Special Crime (North) Division.
The DMP has instructed all transferred officers to hand over their current responsibilities and report to their new postings by August 6, in accordance with the official directives.
