DMP reshuffles DCs in four Key divisions

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has reshuffled deputy commissioners (DCs) in four key divisions of the capital as part of routine administrative changes.

The transfer and posting orders were issued on Sunday (March 1) through a notification signed by Acting Commissioner Md. Sarwar.

The order, issued in public interest, takes immediate effect and will remain in force until further notice.

Under the new postings, DC (Traffic–Ramna) M. Tanvir Ahmed has been appointed as DC of Gulshan Division, while DC (Detective–Lalbagh) Md. Mostak Sarker has been transferred to Mirpur Division.

Meanwhile, Gulshan Division’s DC Raunak Alam has been reassigned as DC (Detective–Lalbagh), and Mirpur Division’s DC Md. Moinul Haque has been posted to Traffic–Ramna Division.

DMP officials said the reshuffle was made to enhance operational efficiency and meet administrative requirements.
