As part of the security plan, pickets and checkposts have been set up at various important points in the capital. Checkposts have been established at all entry points to the city, with search operations intensified. DB and CTTC members will remain deployed on operational duties to ensure overall security.
SWAT, Bomb Disposal Unit and K-9 Unit members will conduct sweeping operations at important locations and crowded places.
Key installations will be brought under special security plans, with surveillance intensified through CCTV cameras and drones in these areas.
In addition, members of CTSB and IAD will continue intelligence operations and information collection in plain clothes. Additional RAB and CID teams will remain deployed to strengthen overall security. Adequate Quick Response Teams (QRTs) will be kept ready and deployed to tackle any emergency situation swiftly.
Beyond regular deployment, additional officers and forces will remain stationed at various important points, event venues, metro rail stations, bus terminals, launch ghats, railway stations and shopping malls, as well as other sensitive areas.
