Don’t give political parties any extra opportunity: Home Adviser

Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said instructed the law enforcement to not give any political party any extra opportunity.

During the time he also said that law enforcement agencies must stop flattering. No one can be arrested in plain clothes.

He said this at a meeting with officials of the Armed Forces Division, Khulna Division's law enforcement and various departments at the Khulna District Shilpakala Academy Auditorium at 11 am on Monday (December 9).

The Home Affairs Adviser said, "Many fake cases are being filed. Action will be taken against those filing fake cases. No guilty person will be spared and no innocent person can be arrested."

He also said, "Weapons have been looted from various police stations in the country. But the expected amount of weapons has not been recovered in the operation yet. The law and order situation must be normalized through the recovery of the looted weapons."

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, "Mob justice is being done in various places. Many are taking the law into their own hands. That is why killings are happening in various places. "Strong action must be taken to stop this."
