Drone flights banned around Evercare Hospital area

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police has imposed a ban on flying drones in and around Evercare Hospital in the capital.

Deputy Commissioner of the DMP Media and Public Relations Division Muhammad Talebur Rahman disclosed the information on December 24.

He said that, in the interest of maintaining public order, the DMP has exercised its authority under Section 28 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance, Ordinance No III of 1976, to prohibit all types of drone flights in the Evercare Hospital area from December 24 until further notice.

He warned that legal action would be taken against anyone operating unauthorised drones in the restricted area and sought cooperation from all concerned.
