Md Khalid Hasan, a student of Dhaka University (DU), has been injured in an attack by rickshaw pullers. The injured is a student of the 2021-22 session of the Arabic Department of Khalid Hasan University. This incident happened on Friday (November 1) night. Regarding the incident, Proctor Saifuddin Ahmed said, “There is a lot of crowd on the campus during weekend (Saturday and Sunday) holidays. The rickshaw pullers sit all over the place, adding to the traffic jam. The rickshaw puller had an argument with the student. After realizing that he was a university student, the rickshaw left the place and ran away.”

রিকশাচালকদের হামলায় মো. খালিদ হাসান নামে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (ঢাবি) এক শিক্ষার্থী আহত হয়েছেন বলে খবর পাওয়া গেছে। শুক্রবার (১ নভেম্বর) রাতে এই ঘটনা ঘটে। আহত খালিদ হাসান বিশ্বিবিদ্যালয়ের আরবি বিভাগের ২০২১-২২ সেশনের শিক্ষার্থী। ঘটনার বিষয়ে প্রক্টর সাইফুদ্দিন আহমেদ বলেন, ক্যাম্পাসে ক্রবার-শনিবার ছুটির দিনগুলোতে অনেক ক্রাউড (ভিড়) হয়। রিকশাচালকরা যত্রতত্র বসে থাকেন, এতে করে জ্যাম আরও বাড়ে। ওই শিক্ষার্থীর সঙ্গে এই বিষয়ে রিকশাওয়ালার বাগবিতণ্ডা হয়। পরে সে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়শিক্ষার্থী বুঝতে পেরে রিকশা রেখে পালিয়ে যায়।
