DUCSU leader Rafia’s home set on fire, crude bomb exploded
Miscreants have set the home of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) member Umma Uswatun Rafia on fire in Mymensingh.
The miscreants also detonated several crude bombs targeting her home during the incident.
The sabotage act took place around 3:00am at her house in Dholadia area on the early hours of the Thursday (November 20).
However, no casualties were reported, and her family quickly extinguished the fire.
Khondkar Zulkarnaine Rad, Rafia’s brother, filed a complaint at Kotwali Model Police Station after the incident. Police later inspected the scene.
Shibirul Islam, officer-in-charge (C) of Kotwali Model Police Station, confirmed the matter, saying, "A case has been filed under the Explosives Act against unknown individuals."
