Earthquake jolts Dhaka, other parts of Bangladesh
A 5.7 magnitude earthquake jolted Dhaka and some other parts of Bangladesh on Friday morning.
The tremor was felt around 10:38am and it lasted for a few seconds.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 3km away from Ghorashal of Narsingdi district, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
According to Dhaka Met office, the quake measured 5.7 on the magnitude scale, with its epicentre located near Madhabdi upazila in Narsingdi district.
The other affected country is India. No immediate news of casualties found.
