EC holds meetings with mission heads of 19 OIC member countries

The Election Commission (EC) has held a meeting with the mission heads of 19 member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Bangladesh.

The meeting was held at the Election Building in Agargaon at 11:00 am on Monday (March 17). Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin, along with three Election Commissioners and the EC Secretary, were present at the meeting.

According to relevant sources, the Election Commission held this meeting with top diplomats to brief them on the preparations for the upcoming national parliamentary elections. Mission heads from Afghanistan, Algeria, Brunei Darussalam, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates were invited to the meeting.
