EC office assistant suspended over recruitment exam fraud
An office assistant under the Election Commission (EC) Secretariat has been temporarily suspended on charges of taking bribes, committing fraud, and giving unfair advantage to a candidate during the ongoing staff recruitment tests.
The decision was announced in an order issued by the EC Secretariat.
According to the order, the accused is Md. Abu Sufian Molla, Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist at the Sarail Upazila Election Office in Brahmanbaria district. Following the allegations, the authorities decided to open a departmental case against him.
