ECNEC meeting begins under chairmanship of PM

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has commenced under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and ECNEC Chairperson Tarique Rahman. Several important projects related to the country's socio-economic development and infrastructure sector have been presented for approval at the meeting.

The meeting began at the Cabinet Division conference room in the Secretariat on Wednesday morning (July 22).

According to relevant sources, development projects from various ministries and divisions are being discussed in the meeting. Among these projects are several initiatives related to infrastructure development, employment generation, expansion of public services, and accelerating economic growth.

Sources indicated that the projects are expected to receive final ECNEC approval following the discussion.

Ministers and State Ministers from various government ministries, members of the Planning Commission, secretaries of different ministries, and senior officials are attending the meeting.
