Ediz IT, a Japanese IT company, has officially begun operations in Bangladesh, aiming to advance the country’s technology sector and strengthen Bangladesh-Japan collaboration.

The company has already obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management standards.

The company introduced its future plans at an event in Dhaka titled “Welcome to our Japanese Representatives: Introduction to Our Next Chapter”, attended by students and guests from Japan.

Operating under the leadership of Yoshino Shizo and Business Development Officer Yota Kishibi, Ediz IT focuses on core blockchain development and providing advanced software and IT solutions. The company also offers services related to international work visas in Japan, student visas, and human resource recruitment.

Ediz IT’s one-year programme in Bangladesh is designed to create employment opportunities in the Japanese job market, offering training in Japanese language (N3 and N2 levels) and information technology skills. The initiative supports the labour force exchange agreement between Bangladesh and Japan and aims to strengthen bilateral technological cooperation.

Special guests at the event included Hiroshi Watanabe, principal of Hiroshima Industrial and Science College, and Mustafa Mahmud Hussain, CEO of CSL Training. The founding chairman of Ediz IT Japan participated online, while Bangladesh-based leadership, including Managing Director Mujibur Rahman and Adviser Morshed Moni, were present at the Dhaka office.

Guests expressed optimism that Ediz IT’s initiatives will contribute significantly to technological development and deepen Bangladesh-Japan relations in the coming years.
