Egypt congratulates Tarique Rahman on election victory

The Egyptian Embassy in Dhaka has congratulated BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman and his party on their victory in Bangladesh's national parliamentary election.

The congratulations were conveyed in a message from the embassy on Saturday, February 14. The message also extended congratulations to the people of Bangladesh for successfully completing the parliamentary election. It mentioned that this election reflects the will and aspirations of the people of the country.

Egypt expressed its interest in working closely with the new Bangladesh government. The message conveyed the expectation of further strengthening the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, as well as working together to advance the common goals of development, stability and prosperity.
