Eid-ul-Azha prayers to be held at Jatiya Sangsad south plaza at 7:30am

The holy Eid-ul-Azha will be observed on Thursday, May 28. The Eid congregation will be held at 7:30 am on the south plaza of the National Parliament Building, according to a press release from the Parliament Secretariat on Tuesday, May 26.

The congregation will be attended by members of parliament, officials and employees of the Parliament Secretariat, and devout Muslims from the surrounding areas. All have been requested to be present on time to join the congregation.

According to Parliament Secretariat sources, all worshippers must come fully prepared for prayer, including performing ablution in advance.

For security and discipline, worshippers have been specifically requested not to bring any bags or luggage other than prayer mats, mobile phones and umbrellas if necessary.
