Eid-ul-Azha to be celebrated on May 28
The moon of the holy month of Zilhaj of the Hijri year 1447 has been sighted in the country's sky. As a result, the biggest religious festival of Muslims, Eid-ul-Azha, will be celebrated across the country on May 28.
Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad announced this decision after a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at the Baitul Mukarram meeting room of the Islamic Foundation on Monday evening (May 18).
