Eight KMP OCs transferred in major reshuffle

The Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) has transferred the Officers-in-Charge (OCs) of eight police stations in a major reshuffle aimed at strengthening law and order management.

The transfer order, signed by KMP Commissioner Md. Zulfiqar Ali Haider, was issued on Thursday (September 11).

According to the KMP media cell, the reshuffle was carried out for administrative reasons, and the officers will soon assume their new charges.

As per the order:Md. Shafiqul Islam, OC of Sonadanga Police Station, has been posted to Khulna Sadar Police Station; Hawlader Sanwar Hossain Masum, OC of Khulna Sadar, has been transferred to Loanchara Police Station; Sheikh Khairul Bashar, OC of Harintana, has been posted to Arangghata Police Station; Md. Tohiduzzaman, OC of Loanchara, has been transferred to Harintana Police Station; Md. Tuhinuzzaman, OC of Arangghata, has been posted to Khanjahan Ali Police Station; Kabir Hossain, OC of Khanjahan Ali, has been transferred to Sonadanga Police Station; Mir Atahar Ali, OC of Daulatpur, has been posted to Khalishpur Police Station; Md. Rafiqul Islam, OC of Khalishpur, has been transferred to Daulatpur Police Station.

KMP officials said the reshuffle is part of the routine administrative process to make policing more dynamic and effective.
