Elevated Expressway toll-free for 4hrs on Thursday

The Airport area toll plaza of the Elevated Expressway will be toll-free for the public for two hours on Thursday, December 25, from 11am to 3pm, to facilitate entry into Dhaka city.

The information was disclosed on December 24 in a message from the press wing of the Chief Adviser. Senior Assistant Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Fayez Ahmed, conveyed the decision citing an official notification.

The notification said that from 11am to 3pm, the toll plaza will remain open to general vehicles and no toll will be collected during this period.

As a result, vehicles using the expressway during the designated time will be able to travel without paying tolls.
