1 injured as students of Dhaka, City colleges clash

A college student named Nani Kumar Saha was injured in a clash between Dhaka College and City College students at the capital's Science Lab.

He was rescued injured around noon on Sunday (January 19) and brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Injured Dhaka College student Nani Kumar Saha said, "We were standing in Science Lab. At that time, students from Dhaka City College suddenly attacked some of us. At that time, I received a serious head injury. Later, my two friends Nahin and Saidur brought me to the hospital. I heard that some others were injured. They are receiving treatment at LabAid Hospital.

Inspector in-charge of the police camp at DMCH Hospital Md. Faruk said, a Dhaka College student came to the hospital from the Science Lab to seek treatment at the emergency department in an injured condition. Later, after receiving treatment in the emergency department, he was discharged.
