104 police officers promoted to AddI SP

A total of 104 Bangladesh Police officers have been promoted from Assistant Police Superintendent to Additional Police Superintendent.

Of them, 102 have been promoted normally and two have been promoted on a meritorious basis.

In two separate notifications issued on Wednesday (February 26), the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs outlined the names of the promoted officers.

"This order issued in the public interest will come into effect immediately," the notification read.

The promoted police officers will be assigned to the Senior Secretary of the Public Security Department through the relevant authorities.
