15 SPs transferred

The authorities have transferred the Superintendent of Police (SP) of 15 districts and have given them new responsibilities.

The districts are--Rangpur, Cumilla, Sylhet, Kushtia, Patuakhali, Barguna, Bogura, Feni, Pabna, Tangail, Nilphamari, Jeshore, Madaripur and Sunamganj.

A notification was issued by the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard on Sunday.

In the notification, 15 officers of SP rank have been transferred. 14 of them will serve as SP of the new district. Another person has been assigned as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) of DMP.
