18 killed as Israel attacks Gaza refugee camps
Eleven people, including children, have been killed in an Israeli air attack on the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza as Israel continues its bombardment of the Palestinian territory.
Seven people were reported killed, including four children, in an Israeli jet attack on a house in the Yabna refugee camp in Rafah.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have conducted airstrikes across different areas of Gaza. As per the Gaza Ministry of Health, the ongoing attacks have resulted in the deaths of 33,843 Palestinians, with a majority being women and children. Additionally, 76,575 individuals have been reported injured.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has reported that 259 Israeli soldiers have lost their lives and 1,571 have been wounded since the initiation of Israel's ground offensive in Gaza.
