181 BGB platoons deployed across Bangladesh

To ensure the safety of readymade garment factories and maintain law and order, a total of 181 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country on the first day of the fifth phase of the blockade called by BNP-Jamaat.

BGB’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Shariful Islam confirmed the matter on Wednesday morning.

Shariful Islam said, "33 BGB platoons have been deployed around garment factories in Dhaka and adjacent areas. Apart from this, 181 platoons of BGB are deployed across the country to control the law and order situation."
