193 FF quota results suspended in medical admission

The Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) has suspended the results of 193 candidates who were selected under the 'Freedom Fighter Quota' in the 2024-2025 academic year medical admission test.

On Monday, Professor Rubina Yasmin, Additional Director General (Medical Education), shared this information with reporters.

She said that a final decision regarding these candidates will be made after thorough verification.

Professor Rubina Yasmin said, "We will verify their documents. For this purpose, three committees have been formed. On January 27, 28, and 29, candidates will have to present all their documents at the ministry. We will check whether anyone other than the actual children of freedom fighters is on the list. If such individuals are found, they will not have any chance of inclusion."

She further said, "This is a preliminary result. The final decision will be made after document verification. Normally, the verification of freedom fighter quota documents is conducted at the respective colleges, but this time, it will be handled centrally."
