Three more people have died from dengue in the last 24 hours, and 1,114 new patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) shared this information in a press release on Tuesday (October 1). So far this year, 166 people have died from dengue. A total of 32,082 people have been hospitalized with the disease, including 18,113 from outside Dhaka. Currently, 3,495 dengue patients are being treated in hospitals, with 1,736 of them outside Dhaka.

গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন তিনজন। একই সময়ে আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ১ হাজার ১৪৪ জন। মঙ্গলবার (১ অক্টোবর) বিকেলে সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর ডেঙ্গুতে মোট ১৬৬ জন মারা গেছেন। এ বছর দেশে মোট ৩২ হাজার ৮২ জন ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন, যার মধ্যে ১৮ হাজার ১১৩ জন ঢাকার বাইরে। বর্তমানে দেশের বিভিন্ন হাসপাতালে ৩ হাজার ৪৯৫ ডেঙ্গু রোগী হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা নিচ্ছেন, যার মধ্যে এক হাজার ৭৩৬ জন ঢাকার বাইরের।
