3 people, including 2 siblings, killed in Natore road tragedy

A collision between a truck, a covered van and an auto-van at Durgapur Bazar on Bamihal-Durgapur road at Sukash union under Singra upazila of Natore killed three persons including two siblings. Two more people were injured in the incident. The accident took place around 11.45pm on Monday.

The deceased are identified as Hosne Ara Begum (40), wife of Abdus Sattar from Bankurail village of the upazila, Imran Hossain (19) and Rabbi Hossain, sons of Abdul Momin.

After a while, police and fire service units reached the spot, recovered the bodies and rushed the injured to the upazila health complex.

Singra Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kalam Azad said that the truck and covered van had been seized from the spot.

However, the drivers of the truck and covered van fled the scene. Police are working to arrest them.
