33rd meeting of the newly formed Board of Directors of Union Bank PLC held

The 33rd meeting of the newly formed Board of Directors of Union Bank PLC was held on May 8, 2025, at the bank's head office in Gulshan-1, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by the Honorable Chairman of the Board, Mohammad Farid Uddin Ahmed.

Among the attendees were Md Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Board’s Risk Management Committee; Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Chairman of the Audit Committee; Independent Directors Dr Shahidul Islam Zahid and Mohammad Saiful Alam; and the bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Md Humayun Kabir.

Also present at the meeting for operational discussions were Deputy Managing Directors Shafiuddin Ahmed, Md Jahangir Alam, and Mohammad Iqbal.

The meeting involved in-depth discussions on various issues, during which important decisions were made regarding business expansion and improving the quality of customer service.
