4 burnt in cylinder explosion in Chattogram

Four people were burnt in a cylinder explosion in Agrabad area under Bandar Thana in Chattogram.

The incident took place around 4:00pm on Thursday (March 7). The victims were admitted to the burn unit of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

The injured are Fahad (20), Zaheer (28), Masum (30) and Nayan (31). The doctors said that the condition of all of them is critical.

CMCH police outpost in-charge SI Nurul Alam said, “Four people were brought to the hospital who were burnt due to gas cylinder explosion while working on drains in front of Agrabad Islami Bank Hospital. Their condition seems critical. A bank officer brought them to the hospital.”
