4 new judges appointed to Appellate Division

President Md Sahabuddin has appointed four new judges to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.

The appointees are Justice Zubair Rahman Chowdhury, Justice Syed Mohammad Ziaul Karim, Justice Md Rezaul Haque and Justice SM Emdadul Haque.

The law ministry issued a notification appointing them as per the order of the President on Monday (August 12).

The notification signed by Law and Judiciary Secretary Md Golam Sarwar said the President has appointed four judges of the High Court Division to the Bangladesh Supreme Court Appellate Division from the date of their swearing-in under Article 95(1) of the Constitution.
