40 JnU students get stipends, certificates

Jahangirnagar University BCS Officers Forum has awarded stipends  and certificates to 40 students topping all departments  in the final stage examination.   The event was held in the senate session room of Jahangirnagar University at 3pm on Saturday.   

Prof. Dr. Md. Nurul Alam, Vice Chancellor, Jahangirnagar University, was present as the chief guest in the event.

Presided over by Dr. Ahmed Monirus Salehin, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment and President BCS Officers Forum at Jahangirnagar University, forum General Secretary, A Ahad, DC, DB, DMP, started the program with welcome address.

He congratulated the scholarship recipients and hoped to increase the scope of this scholarship in the future.     A total of 40 students from 36 departments of the university were given a one-time check of Tk 20,000 and a certificate of appreciation.  

The program was moderated byMohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Professor of English Department of Government Titumir College.
