43 police officers including additional DIG's transferred

43 officers including 5 additional DIGs of Bangladesh Police have been transferred to different units. Among the other transferred officers, 18 are police superintendents and 19 are additional police superintendents.

On Tuesday (March 25), the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued two separate notifications in this regard. Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman signed the two notifications on the orders of the President.

It said that 12 APBN Commander (Additional DIG) Md. Anisur Rahman has been transferred to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Highway Police Additional DIG Md Farida Yasmin has been transferred to the DMP and APBN Headquarters Additional DIG Mohammad Hasan Bari Nur has been transferred to the post of Commandant of Chattogram RRF.

Earlier, 53 senior officers, including 20 additional DIGs and 31 police superintendents of Bangladesh Police, were transferred to various units.
